Design and Fabrication of Carbon Nanoparticles-Based Sensor by Arc Discharge Method

چکیده :
In this article, a sensor based on carbon nanoparticles has been designed and fabricated. Carbon nanoparticles have been synthesized by the Ac Arc Discharge device in suitable environmental conditions from the decomposition of butane gas. These nanoparticles are grown in different lengths between two metal electrodes. Considering this set as a field effect transistor in the role of an electrical sensor, its channel length changes according to the distance between the two electrodes. To check the correct functionality of the sensor, its sensitivity to different concentrations of salt-water has been checked and the resistance graph has been obtained according to the concentration for different Channel lengths.
