چکیده :
This paper describes a Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) tailored for Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) applications. The proposed LNA employs a novel input matching network that incorporates a high-Q capacitor to enhance its performance. Implemented using a cascode, inductively degenerated architecture in 0.18 µm CMOS process technology, the design is optimized for operation at 5.5 GHz. Simulation results, performed in Advanced Design System (ADS), demonstrate a noise figure (NF) of 0.733 dB, a gain of 22.899 dB, an input third-order intercept point (IIP3) of 2.752 dBm, and a power consumption of 7.344 mW. These results indicate that the proposed LNA offers high gain, low noise, and efficient power consumption, making it well-suited for next-generation wireless local area network (WLAN) systems.
