چکیده :
With the rapid advancement of medical and wearable technologies, there is a growing demand for ultra-low-power circuits capable of reliable operation under ultra- low supply voltages. This paper presents a simple bulk-driven circuit structure used to design a fourth-order low-pass filter (LPF) specifically tailored for electrocardiogram (ECG) signal processing. The proposed filter operates at an ultra-low supply voltage of 0.3 V, achieving exceptionally low power consumption of only 3 nW at a cut-off frequency of 100 Hz. Post-layout simulation results demonstrate an input-referred noise (IRN) of 74.4 μVrms, a dynamic range (DR) of 51.8 dB, and a third-order intercept point (IIP3) of +7.8 dBm, indicating the filter’s excellent linearity and noise performance. Additionally, the compact design occupies an active chip area of only 0.014 mm², making it suitable for integration in wearable biomedical devices where area and power constraints are critical. These results highlight the effectiveness of the bulk-driven approach in developing low-voltage, low-power analog filters for next-generation healthcare applications.
