چکیده :
Abstract— A novel approximate divider architecture is proposed in this paper, aiming to reduce hardware complexity and power consumption while maintaining acceptable accuracy. The proposed design combines exact and approximate divider cells to achieve a trade-off between accuracy and hardware cost. By adjusting the number of exact bits, the designer can control the precision of the output. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed divider achieves significant reductions in area and power consumption compared to conventional exact dividers, making it suitable for applications with relaxed accuracy requirements.
