چکیده :
This paper presents a low-noise amplifier (LNA) operating at 2.4 GHz, featuring an innovative tunable architecture with switchable gain states. The proposed design enables dynamic adjustment between high- and low-gain modes, thereby optimizing performance under varying signal conditions. In both operating modes, the LNA achieves an input reflection coefficient (S11) below -20 dB, ensuring excellent impedance matching. The high-gain mode delivers a gain of 20.240 dB, while the low-gain mode provides 12.769 dB. Furthermore, the LNA maintains a decent noise figure across both modes. The tunable architecture employs reconfigurable biasing techniques to seamlessly transition between gain states without compromising stability or overall performance. Simulation results, carried out in a standard 180 nm CMOS process, validate the design's robustness and effectiveness. These results demonstrate the LNA’s suitability for multi-standard wireless communication systems, where adaptability to diverse signal strengths and noise environments is essential.
