چکیده :
Abstract—In this paper, IC with a new structure for digital meters has been designed. This new structure increases the measurement accuracy of the digital meter and reduces its power consumption. The use of a different structure has led to a reduction in the cost of the digital meter. reduce power consumption, in the first step, we used the two-watt meter method instead of the three-watt meter method. In the second step, to further reduce power consumption, the current transformer was removed and a Hall effect sensor was used for current measurement. By using a Hall effect sensor instead of a current transformer, the cost of the digital meter has been reduced. Additionally, by employing the two-watt meter method instead of the three-watt meter method, we have reduced the number of Hall effect sensors from three to two, which has also contributed to the reduction in the cost of the digital meter. The IC is designed as bidirectional, allowing the meter to distinguish between a generator and a consumer, and to calculate the amount of generation or consumption. Due to its unique design, the IC can measure both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). The designed IC, due to its unique structure, can measure both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). One of its applications is the measurement of direct current in synchronous motors in power plants
